It’s time to stay sharp as a giant axe throwing tournament is on its way to Montreal.
The inaugural competition is bringing together some of the country’s best axe tossers who will compete for $3,000 cash and even though registration is full, spectators can watch the tournament for free.
Similarly to your shoulders after hurling these heavy tools, axe throwing is quickly becoming bigger throughout Montreal.

Forty-eight competitors will compete in a double-elimination style competition and the winner will take home a smooth $3,000 as well as city-wide bragging rights as the best axe thrower.
