Montreal police seek witnesses to fight that led to homicide

Montreal police are looking for individuals who may have witnessed a fight on a city bus that resulted in a homicide.

On March 29, an altercation broke out on Bus 189 as it was travelling between Notre-Dame Street and 8th Avenue. The incident took place between 8:25 pm and 9:15 pm.

The 23-year-old male victim was stabbed in the upper body when he was leaving the bus. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he died a few days later.
