Five young lads in Montreal put new meaning behind the term “put your hands up” when it comes to encountering the police.
They did put their hands up. Up onto a cop car stuck in the snow, that is.

A video was posted to Instagram by user marie_nadeau last night that showed a group of guys pushing a Montreal cruiser out of a snowbank at Montreal’s Place des Arts.
The five young men aren’t exactly dressed in ideal winter garb but they have their values in place.
Speaking of being in place, the cop car successfully made it back onto the street, thanks to some good old fashioned Canadian pushing.

After another video went viral of a police officer in Ontario helping an elderly lady in the snow, it’s nice to see it can work in reverse as well.
Smart move (literally), gentlemen.
