There's only one show left in Old Montreal's firework competition (PHOTOS)
Firework fans will have to wait until next summer to witness Old Montreal’s sky-high pyrotechnic shows on weekdays.
Last night was the penultimate show for 2019’s L’International des Feux Loto-Québec as Team Australia lit up the sky with their “Shapeshifter” event, marking the Old Port’s seventh spectacle of the summer.
The 35th edition of the fireworks festival will sum up its month-long run with “Finale” on Saturday, July 27.

The final Wednesday show went out with a bang last night, literally.
The Jacques-Cartier Bridge was once again closed off to vehicular and cyclist traffic, giving Montrealers and tourists an eye-popping (and ear-popping) view of the fireworks exploding in air for the second-to-last time.
Here are a few pictures and videos of the last weekday fireworks, raining down on Montreal to tide you over until Saturday’s finale.
