New Year’s Eve may be over but 2019 is just kicking off.
As part of the city’s Merry Montreal festivities, the outdoor party in the Old Port hosted thousands of people who braved the rain, slush and cold in what Montreal en Fetes calls “the biggest New Year’s Eve party in Canada.”
The Quai Jacques-Cartier featured a giant stage, live music, a massive dance floor (obviously) and some bubbly while fireworks brought in the new year in style.
The illuminated Jacques-Cartier Bridge joined the light show party as well as an impressive shower of confetti.
In case you missed the bash, or if you want to relive the magic, here are 26 pictures and videos from Montreal’s first big party of the year.
