The sun was shining, it was warm, and Crescent Street was full of people – a good first lap.

From luxurious cars, a magnitude of bars, restaurants, and terraces, live music and you know, the occasional street-side beer, Crescent Street kicked off the official start of the Canadian Grand Prix on Thursday night.
Regarded as one of the most prestigious and respected tourism events in the county, the Montreal Grand Prix welcomes over 450,000 people annually for the city-wide bash.
The big race happens on Sunday at 2:10 pm, but the city will continue to rev its engine all weekend long.
Some could argue the weekend roars by faster than a McLaren pit stop:
