FREE BIXI rides return to Montreal for the summer starting May 26
Exploring Montreal is great but checking out the city on a bike is even greater. Add on scoping out the city on a bike, for free, and you’ve got yourself a dandy of a day.
As the weather turns to more spring-like temperatures and that pesky April snow begins to melt, Montreal’s bike paths are just heating up.
And, for the fourth year in a row, BIXI Montreal wants to make sure you’re hitting the road for free all summer.

On the last Sunday of the month, from May to October, the city’s bike sharing program will be offering free rides for everyone throughout the city.
The Sunday deal is offered at every one of the city’s 912 BIXI docking stations, meaning more than 10,000 public bikes will be available to ride for free.
It sounds like the potential start of one impressive BIXI Bike clan.

The free ride deal includes all one-way trips, under 30 minutes, for the entire Sunday from midnight until 11:59 pm.
The other free BIXI Sunday dates are June 23, July 28, August 25, September 29 and October 27.
