Comedy for a Cause: Accessibility for All
This one-of-a-kind stand-up comedy night features award-winning comedian DJ Demers of America’s Got Talent, Conan, and Just For Laughs in an event that is fully accessible to people with low mobility, vision, and/or hearing.
All proceeds go towards scholarships and bursaries supporting accessibility.
Accessibility measures include: closed captioning, FM system, T-Loop, full wheelchair access, and sighted guides for people with low vision. ASL interpretation is available upon request and braille (paper) tickets are also available upon request.
The lineup includes Gael Kennedy Hannan, Jon Selig, Serag Meletian, and Abby Patricia Stonehouse.

Les Jardins Gamelin – Grande fête d’ouverture

L’Avenue du Mont Royal Street Fair
The annual open-air street fair (say that ten times fast) is set to return to Mont Royal Avenue and it all starts tonight.
From May 30 to June 2, the popular street will be completely closed off to vehicular traffic as 300 local merchants will take over a 2.5 km stretch of the popular avenue.
The massive sidewalk sale will feature more than shopping bargains as tons of family-friendly activities are also lined up including a DJ lounge area, a family zone with various activities for children, and thirty-five terraces, restaurants, bars, and food trucks.

Invasion Cocktail
Returning for its sixth edition, Invasion Cocktail has taken place in over 30 bars and restaurants across Montreal and Quebec City. Until the end of the month, more than 250 cocktails will be crafted by some of the province’s best bartenders and mixologists.
The festival’s goal is to “allow cocktail lovers to discover new spirits, brands and establishments,” reads the Invasion Cocktail website. “The festival also aims to promote education to industry professionals by introducing Pro Days, a series of seminars hosted by the biggest names in international mixology.”
