Your Saturday is here! From Christmas markets to a LEGO festival get out there and take advantage of all the exciting things to do in Montreal today.

Salon du Livre

If a library is your idea of paradise, then you have to check out Montreal’s annual Salon du Livre. The giant book fair will be held at Place Bonaventure, beginning on November 15 and ending on November 20.

During the six-day festival, Place Bonaventure will be filled to the brim with books. In addition to the thousands of books available for purchase, there will be author signings, book panels, trade shows, a teen lounge, and a book donation bin.

Odesza 

American electronic music duo Odesza – who is fresh from an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel – are on their way to fame after the recent release of their chart-topping new album, “A Moment Apart.”

The Santa Claus Parade 2017

Santa Claus is officially coming to town. On November 18, head down to Sainte-Catherine West, between Du Fort and Saint-Urbain streets to experience Montreal’s magical Santa Claus Parade.

The 67th edition of the parade will feature over 20 floats including the Christmas Fairy’s and Santa Claus’, and a wide range of artists, musicians, dancers and street performers.

The Gospel Brunch

Montreal Cat Festival

Calling all cat lovers!

Montreal’s very own cat festival, The Salon des Aristochats, will take place on November 18 and 19 from 10 am to 5 pm at Centre Pierre Charbonneau. Located near Olympic Stadium, this is your chance to discover cat-loving artists, browse hundreds of cat-inspired gifts and goodies, and participate in cat-themed activities. They will even have celebrity cats on-site for you to play with.

Brickomanie

Calling all LEGO lovers! A giant LEGO festival is taking place in Montreal on November 18 and 19.

Liquid Architecture

An immersive ‘liquid architecture’ exhibition will be taking place at Montreal’s Society of Technological Arts (SAT).

The exhibit is an audiovisual experience that deconstructs 3D scans of monuments, buildings, and structures into a mesmerizing experience that will be projected on the dome of the SAT.

Barbie Expo

What: Come and check out the world’s largest Barbie exhibit this month. The exhibit will feature Barbies of various ethnicities, dressed in traditional clothes, as well as great Hollywood stars (Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, etc.). A separate section is reserved for haute-couture dolls, which have been dressed by Dior, Chanel, Givenchy and many more notable names from the fashion industry.
