Oh boy, giving back to the community is sweet. Literally. BeaverTails will be giving out their decadent pastries this weekend in Montreal.

For the fourth consecutive year, to coincide with World Food Day, participating BeaverTails locations will be exchanging a Cinnamon and Sugar BeaverTails pastry for a monetary donation or non-perishable food item.

That’s a tasty deal.

The non-perishables must be three items or more and all of the proceeds will be going to Hope Food Bank of St. John Brebeuf Parish.

Organizers of the iconic Canadian dessert chain claim that the fundraiser is a great opportunity to help those living in food poverty at a local level, while receving a sweet treat for good support.
