Everyone loves a good meal at IKEA every once in a while.

Whether you’re heading to the global ready-to-assemble furniture store’s bistro just for a meatball-gravy-fry combo or you happen to need a quiche mid-shop, IKEA tends to hit the spot and do the job for cheap and satisfying eats.

Lucky for those that enjoy this spot’s bistro, there’s been a new addition to the foodie lineup and it’s extremely affordableĀ ā€“ we’re talking $0.75 affordable.

As of today, October 3, patrons will find a new veggie hot dog on the Swedish chain’s menu across Canada.

The plant-based under-a-buck dish is served hot withĀ mustard, red cabbage, and fried onions, and will be sold alongside the uber-popular regular hot dog at the store.

The chain plans to introduce even more veggie-friendly offerings to their Canadian menu soon, including a plant-based ice cream slotted to arrive next year.
