Montreal’s Mural Festival kicked off last week and the results have been spectacular.
For the festival, Boulevard Saint Laurent closes off to traffic between Rue Sherbrooke and Avenue Mont-Royal and welcomes some of the world’s best street artists to use Saint Laurent’s buildings and sidewalks as canvases.
In addition to the artwork, Mural Fest becomes a hub for music, food, and fashion. In essence, this hip festival also serves as a giant Plateau sidewalk sale consisting of food trucks, terrasses, games, live music, and clothing sales from a wide selection of Boulevard Saint Laurent’s outlets.
The festival continues until June 17 and in case you’re scared of missing out on what’s happened so far, here are 27 photos from the opening week of Mural Fest 2018.
