Watch movies from a "VIP Bed" at this Switzerland theatre

Have you ever wanted more from your movie-going experience?

Do you strive for higher levels of comfort while you watch your favourite characters bring stories to life on the silver screen?

Cinema Pathé in Spreitenbach, Switzerland, may have just what it is that you seek.

The theatre’s “VIP Bed Cinema” hosts 11 double beds providing the ultimate level of comfort for your movie-viewing pleasure.

The popular beds are arranged for an optimal view of the screen and designed for maximum privacy,” the theatre’s website explains.

“Two people lie on their own orthopedic mattresses with an electrically adjustable headboard.”

Complete with charging ports for smartphones and tablets located on either side, storage areas are also integrated into the bed.

The bed linens are changed for every viewing, and guests are invited to get all kinds of cozy with the fluffy pillows and warm blankets provided.

You even get slippers to keep your toes nice and toes-ty.

The website continues, “Dolby Atmos spoils your ears in this cinema and a large screen with a pin-sharp image your eyes for a realistic film experience.”

What does it even mean to have spoiled ears? We don’t know, but we are dying to find out.

Other perks of being a VIP at Cinema Pathé in Spreitenbach include access to the Golden elevators, which bring you up to an “exclusive foyer with a wine and champagne bar.”

From there, you can access the three different cinemas: the VIP Lounge, IMAX VIP box, and the VIP Bed.

Going to the movies has never been so boujee.

Tickets to the VIP Bed cinema are CHF 49 ($66 CAD) and include unlimited snacks and soft drinks in addition to access to the VIP area and the cost of entrance to the movie itself.

Champagne and wine can also be purchased at the bar.
