Here is something you can’t understand… how major hip-hop icons can just play for free!
While there will no shortage of chances to meet Dr. Greenthumb this 4/20 in Vancouver, especially if you head down to the Sunset Beach’s protest, there will be only one chance to see stoner-rap royalty Cypress Hill for free on April 20.

That’s right, you can take Hits From the Bong while watching the iconic groups of rappers on stage this year.
According to the band’s website, B-Real, Sen Dog, and DJ Muggs formed Cypress Hill in 1988. The group created a fusion of Latin culture, hip-hop and rock music, and lyrical imagery borrowed from their favourite plant, cannabis.
Their release of Cypress Hill in 1991 made history as “the first Latino American hip-hop recording group to go platinum.”
Since then, the group has released a total of nine studio albums, and added Eric “Bobo” Correa to their touring lineup as a drummer and percussionist. The Vancouver 4/20 precedes the group’s worldwide tour that will kick off in California before heading to Germany, Finland, Russia, and numerous other countries.
