It might not feel like it right now, Edmonton, but warmer temperatures are coming your way this week.

It’s currently -19°C in the city, although with the wind chill it seems more like -24°C.

We may see a few flurries this afternoon, clearing up by the evening with a forecasted low of -19°C overnight.

According to The Weather Network, Wednesday and Thursday will warm up significantly, with mainly sunny skies and no snow predicted. By Thursday afternoon, a high of -6°C is expected, dropping to -11°C overnight.

Temperatures continue to rise over the weekend, with a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 1°C on Saturday.

Sunday carries on the trend of positive numbers, bringing a high of 4°C. At this rate, we can practically see spring on the horizon.

Sounds like a perfect weekend to spend time outside exploring the city and taking advantage of the warmer temperatures!
