Ever wonder what downtown Edmonton looked like in the 1980s?

We went digging through the City of Edmonton’s archives for vintage photos, and came up with some gems.

The 1980s cars and signage contrasted with skyscrapers that look a little more modern to create a unique retro vibe, and we loved seeing what the streets of YEG were like back in the day.
