Fly roundtrip to Tokyo or Osaka from Edmonton for around $650 next year

If you are in need of any excuse to escape Edmonton’s dreary winters, you can add some adventure to your life with a spontaneous trip to Japan next year.

With flights available from Edmonton International Airport (YEG) to Tokyo and Osaka next year for around $650, the delicious food and rich, vibrant culture just got easier to experience.

Courtesy of YEG Deals, United Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Edmonton to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan to between $646 and $662 roundtrip including taxes.

From Osaka, it’s a 26 minute train ride, which costs about $17 to get to the beautiful city of Kyoto if you use the special rapid trains on the JR Kyoto Line.

Travel dates for this deal are January, February, April, late September, and October of 2020.

Here’s how to book the deal:

1. Go to Google Flights
2. Search: Edmonton to Tokyo, Japan or Edmonton to Osaka, Japan
3. Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view, and search for cheap date combinations
4. Look for the dates that are between $640 and $670 CAD roundtrip.

If you book the deal, you could kick off the new decade by going to see Japanese cherry blossoms or playing real life Mario Kart in Japan next year.
