Nov 26 2019, 8:21 pm

The Old Strathcona Business Association Winter Whyte Light Up is back on November 30 to celebrate the holiday season and liven up the Old Strathcona.

This free, family-friendly event includes a farmers market, lots of lights, pictures with Santa, and several buildings nearby where patrons can warm up.

The event will also have fire pits, s’mores stations, Victorian carollers courtesy of Leading Stars Arts and Education Foundation, and other musical performers and roving entertainment.

Participating businesses in the area will also have fun activities on-site, including an 18+ Holiday Speakeasy at ATB Financial Arts Barn where you can grab a cocktail.

The Old Strathcona Business Association is also hosting a three-day winter pop-up. Attendees can expect treats, deals, and in-store experiences with 50 participating businesses from November 28 to 30, wrapping up in time for the Winter Whyte Light Up.

According to the Old Strathcona Business Association, this year’s event will have “more lights, more entertainment, and more holiday fun!”
