Edmonton bar known for New York-style pizza and live music to close for good this weekend
Edmonton’s food scene has already seen some sad closures in January, and the latest casualty is a restaurant known for its New York-style pizza and live music.
SOHO, named after the iconic New York neighbourhood, revealed on Facebook that it would be closing its outpost at 11454 Jasper Avenue after more than three years.
“We sadly regret to inform you that after nearly 3.5 years of making music and memories together, we will close our doors for the last time on Saturday, January 18,” the restaurant said in the post.
The team also thanked its customers, family, and friends for their support over the years.
The restaurant is a celebration of US dining, offering NY-style pies and stacked Philly Cheesesteaks, as well as other Big Apple-ready dishes such as hot dogs, burgers, and cheesecake.
It was also known for its weekly karaoke nights and live music.
