It was a snowy one today in Edmonton, and according to police, drivers didn’t do very well — at all.

According to Edmonton Police Service, between 5 am and 4 pm on Tuesday, November 26, a total of 111 collisions were reported to police.

Of these, there were 13 hit-and-run collisions, 5 injury collisions, and 93 property damage collisions.

The City of Edmonton took to Twitter earlier today to remind drivers in Edmonton to drive to the conditions and give themselves extra travel time.

“Crews are actively maintaining roads & clearing sidewalks/other priority areas to ensure safe mobility. A salt/sand mix is being applied to roadways, hills & intersections for traction. Please give crews room to work & travel to conditions,” said the City of Edmonton on Twitter.

So in case you needed yet another reminder, drive safe out there, Edmonton.
