OpenTable’s list of the Top 100 Restaurants in Canada for 2025 has just dropped, and two Edmonton restaurants have made the list.
There were only 19 restaurants from Alberta to get a spot in OpenTable’s Top 100, and Olia and Sabor were the only two Edmonton restaurants to make the list. This list is based on a bunch of factors, including over one million diner reviews, diner ratings, reservation demand, and percentage of five-star reviews.
“This year’s Top 100 list isn’t just a celebration of excellence; it’s a showcase of Canada’s ever-evolving dining scene. With a wave of exciting new restaurants joining the list and OpenTable, mixed with unforgettable favourites, we’re thrilled to spotlight the bold flavours and innovative talent shaping Canada’s culinary future,” says Matt Davis, Senior Country Director, OpenTable Canada.

Olia is one of Edmonton’s best Italian restaurants, brought to life by Chef Daniel Costa.
Chef Costa is prevalent in the culinary scene within Edmonton. He’s known for being behind some of the best Italian concepts, and it’s no surprise Olia has made this list.
Located on Jasper Avenue, Olia serves a simple, seasonal menu while highlighting what’s best about Italian cuisine.

Sabor is also well-known within the city, having a couple of sister locations around Edmonton. It is the go-to place for tapas, serving only the best food from Portugal and Spain out of Edmonton’s historic Boardwalk Building.
The soulful vibe of not only the restaurant itself but also the food will have you walking away fully satisfied. All these flavours will blow you away, so there’s no question why this made OpenTable’s Top 100.
Don’t walk, run to get reservations at these two excellent food spots. There’s a reason both made the list, so it’s about time for you to find out why yourself!
