The Stanley Cup Final is set to begin in Edmonton for the first time in nearly 40 years, and Oilers fans are eager to buy tickets.

Game 1 of the series between the Oilers and Florida Panthers is scheduled for Wednesday night, and ticket prices are already skyrocketing. Luckily, the organization has recognized the demand to get into Rogers Place for Game 1.

While standard tickets are still available on Ticketmaster, the Oilers announced that additional seats for the Stanley Cup Final opener will be dropping on Tuesday at 10 a.m. MDT.

As of Monday afternoon, about 177 standard tickets were still available for Game 1, with the rest being on the resale market. Of those standard tickets, the cheapest was listed for $1,419 in the Rogers Place Skybox.

The cheapest resale ticket was listed for $660 for a seat in section 218 of the Rogers Place upper bowl.

This will be the first Game 1 of a Stanley Cup Final to be hosted in the Alberta capital since the Oilers did so against the Boston Bruins in 1988. Since then, the Oilers have made it to the final on three separate occasions (1990, 2006, 2024) but did not hold home-ice advantage in any of those series.

Oilers fans will have two guaranteed games at Rogers Place to enjoy in this Stanley Cup Final. Game 1, as mentioned, is slated for Wednesday night while Game 2 is set to go on Friday night before the series shifts to Florida for Games 3 and 4.

If necessary, Rogers Place will also play host to Game 5 on June 14 and Game 7 on June 20.
