Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup Final tickets are going for absurd prices
If you’re hoping to get into Rogers Place to see any games of the Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers, be prepared to empty your wallets.
As was the case a year ago when these two teams faced off in the Final, tickets at Rogers Place are going for some absolutely insane prices.
Last year, Game 3 and Game 4 were played at Rogers Place, as the Panthers held home-ice advantage. That isn’t the case this time around, as the Oilers finished the season with 101 points to the Panthers’ 98, meaning the opening two games of the series will take place in Edmonton.
The cheapest resale tickets for Game 1 on Ticketmaster are currently going for a whopping $1,018.80. Meanwhile, seats in the lower bowl are going for more than $1,300, while some are going for as much as $8,400.

Anyone hoping that they may be able to snag a couple seats for Game 2 for a slightly lower price are out of luck. In fact, they are even pricier.
The cheapest resale tickets for Game 2 are currently being listed at $1,158.84. The most expensive tickets that remain up for grabs are going for $8,120.

It comes as no surprise to see how excited Oilers fans are to witness their team’s second straight Stanley Cup Final. Anticipation may be even higher this time around, as the Oilers are looking to exact revenge over the Panthers after falling 2-1 in Game 7 last year.
While the Panthers are obviously a great team with this marking their third straight Stanley Cup Final, the Oilers are a vastly improved team from a year ago. Last year’s run saw them scratch and claw their way to the Final, whereas this year saw them get to this stage with relative ease, eliminating two heavy hitters in the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars in just five games.
Game 1 of this series will get underway on Wednesday at 6 p.m. MDT, while Game 2 will come on Friday at the same time.
