This global tea shop is closing its only Edmonton location after over four years

Nuttea, a popular global brand making milk teas from nut milk, originally opened in Edmonton in May 2022.
If you haven’t already heard of the brand, Nuttea has helped develop nut-related diets and introduced the public to Nut Mylk, a milk made fresh daily with real nuts and natural ingredients only, since 2007.
After operating in several countries around the world, this Edmonton location was the first in Alberta and one of the first in Canada, only second to the Vancouver location.
This week, on Monday, Sept. 14, it announced it’d be officially closing the doors to its Edmonton location this month, ending its journey with over four years of business in the city.

“From every cup of nut mylk tea to every swirl of our signature nut whipped cream, it has been a privilege to share Nuttea with Edmonton,” reads the closing announcement on Instagram.
The final day of business will be on Sunday, Sept. 20.
If you find yourself craving its signature nut mylk tea, you’ll still be able to find it at its two other spots in Canada, located in Toronto and Vancouver.
“To everyone who visited us, supported our small business, brought friends and family, shared our posts, or simply stopped by for your favorite drink — thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” closes the team.
