This local cafe is opening a new location in downtown Edmonton
Roam Cafe is a neighbourhood spot in Edmonton made for students, professionals, artists, and, of course, neighbours, and it was recently announced that it’s opening a new location in the city.
This September, ATB Place made a post stating that Roam Cafe would be opening a new location, its second ever, in the downtown Edmonton building. Although the exact opening date has not been released yet, we couldn’t be more excited to see this new cafe open.
“Whether you’re grabbing your morning coffee, meeting with colleagues, or taking a well-deserved break during the day, Roam Cafe will soon offer another place to connect and recharge,” reads the post ATB Place made on Instagram.

If you aren’t familiar with this cafe, it’s best known for its fresh coffee, with beans roasted in-house, and its incredible, inviting, community-driven atmosphere.
On its website, it states the new location’s hours will be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday. It will be closed on weekends, similar to the original location in Wîhkwêntôwin.
“Whether you’re here to study, catch up with a friend, sketch in your notebook, or just take a quiet moment with a coffee, you’re always welcome,” affirms the cafe’s website.
