Beloved Vancouver mochi donut spot has made a new home in Edmonton
Mochido has made its journey from Vancouver to Edmonton, and now we can get our share of these delicious mochi donuts.
The shop originally made its appearance in Vancouver in 2021. After closing early 2025, the spot is officially back in business, this time in our corner of the west: Edmonton.

Hidden in the Northtown Centre’s T&T Supermarket is Mochido’s new home. Here, you’ll be able to find the delicious donuts that have made their way around social media more than once.
Currently, the new storefront is in its soft-opening phase.
What does that mean exactly? For one, there will be a 20 per cent off promotion on orders during this phase. Starting at 11 a.m. every day, the shop will be open until all donuts are sold out.
As for prices, the donuts start at $3.75 for a single, $19.99 for a box of six, and $34.99 for a dozen. During this soft opening phase, there will be a limit of six donuts and four drinks per person.
On top of the delectable mochi donuts, the shop will also be serving bubble tea! Most drinks are made with fresh fruit, and all of them have a delicious flavour you’ll be craving next time you’re in the area.
The exact grand opening date hasn’t been revealed just yet, so keep an eye out for this exciting news.
