Cocktail bar with stunning hotel lobby vibes opens in Edmonton
Edmonton has an impressive cocktail bar scene, but it recently got a new addition that wouldn’t look out of place in New York.
Mimi is a lobby bar at the base of the Citizens on Jasper building at 12016 Jasper Avenue. It’s the latest concept from chef Daniel Costa, the name behind other YEG hotspots, including Olia, Bar Henry, VA! and Bar Bricco.
While Olia and VA! are both situated in the same building, Mimi offers something truly unique and perfectly encapsulates the late-night vibe.
The space is designed to feel like a classy and intimate hotel lobby despite being in a residential building. It features low lighting, impeccable design, comfortable seating, and live jazz every Sunday.
Of course, there are plenty of cocktails to choose from, but there is also a selection of delicious snacks, such as goat ricotta crostini, arancini, and pasta like raviolini and gnocchi.
Mimi Bar is open Wednesday through Sunday from 6 pm until late.
