L'OCA Quality Market closing Edmonton and Sherwood Park locations
L’OCA Quality Market will be closing its doors soon in both Edmonton and Sherwood Park, the grocery store told Dished on Friday.
L’OCA Quality Market opened its doors to the public at 340 Baseline Rd. on May 10, 2024. The 45,000-square-foot space focused on quality goods such as handmade pasta, pizza, baked goods, meat, cheese, groceries and was also home to a butcher, bakery, cafe, and flower shop.
The second store, located at 9106 142nd Street in Edmonton, opened its doors in early 2025.
Word of the closure surfaced online Friday afternoon, and during a call to the business, Dished was told by an employee that both the Edmonton and Sherwood Park stores would be closing on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
As to why the stores were closing, the employee added that “it’s just not a feasible business anymore.”
