Home & Away sports bar to open first-ever Edmonton location in December
A popular Calgary-based sports bar, Home & Away, is now gunning for a December opening for its first-ever Edmonton location.
The bar will occupy the space on 10363 104 Street NW, right near Rogers Place that formerly housed Mercer Tavern for more than a decade before Mercer closed shop at the end of August.
The Edmonton Home & Away location was scheduled to be open sometime this fall, and Daily Hive has learned it’s now set to open sometime in December.
The soon to be local sports-themed watering hole is known for its menu of sporty comfort fare with fun twists, including inventive tacos, burgers, pizzas, hot dogs, and mac and cheese to name a few.
