There's a new Vietnamese bakery in Edmonton and its grand opening is this weekend

Heo Bake has gone from a home bakery to a pop-up legend, and now the team has finally opened its own location in Edmonton.

You’ll be able to find some of their signature baked goods as well as popular Vietnamese drinks at this new spot. Truly, this is going to be the new go-to cafe for Vietnamese goodies like pandan lattes and hot cross buns.

The mission behind this bakery, according to themselves, is to “bring back the nostalgic spirit of the ’90s—a time when childhood adventures filled our days and technology hadn’t yet taken over our lives.”

For this team, that reminds them of refreshing drinks on hot summer days in Biên Hòa, a small city near Saigon. They invite you to slow down, take a step back in time, and enjoy every sip of those memories with them.

This past weekend, Heo Bake opened its doors for a soft opening. However, you won’t have to wait much longer for the exciting grand opening.

This Friday and Saturday, July 25 and July 26, will be the official grand opening of the new storefront. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., you’ll be able to take a sip or bite of some of their delicious items available.

Some of the highlight drinks featured on their Instagram ahead of the opening look absolutely delectable. There’s the Vietnamese Pandan Latte with condensed milk and fresh Pandan extract. Or, maybe you’ll be wanting a sip of their refreshing Passionfruit, Coconut Water, and Chia Seed drink for a fruity delight.

If you’re not too thirsty, there’s also plenty of the bakery’s signature baked delights available for your pleasure. You’ll definitely want a bite of these treats.

Mark your calendars for the opening this weekend; it’ll be a celebration, for sure.
