Edmonton Oilers goalie Tristan Jarry reveals slick new mask for next season
Perhaps some new customized gear can help get Tristan Jarry’s game back on track with the Edmonton Oilers.
As the fan base is well aware, Jarry’s tenure with the Oilers has gotten off to a rough start. The 31-year-old was acquired last December from the Pittsburgh Penguins in a trade management made to help stabilize its goaltending. It didn’t, or at least hasn’t, panned out as hoped, as Jarry put up a horrendous 3.86 GAA along with a .858 SV% in 19 appearances for the Oilers.
Due largely to Jarry’s struggles, the Oilers made some significant changes between the pipes this offseason. They not only traded for Devon Levi, but signed Frederik Andersen to a one-year deal.
Despite bringing in two new faces, however, it is still expected that Jarry will be on the Oilers roster this coming season as part of a three-goalie tandem.
Whether Jarry can get his game back on track remains to be seen. What we do know, however, is that when he hits the ice for the 2026-27 season, he’ll be doing so in style.

His new mask, which was painted by Jason Bartziokas, is packed with what he describes as “Tom and Jerry mischief.” There’s also a “no trespassing” label written on the front, along with “Jarry” along the bottom.

The back of the mask, meanwhile, features some lost loved ones, along with his wife Hannah, their son Bennett, and their two dogs Diesel and Kitty.
A new name will soon be added to that mask, as Jarry and his wife announced in late July that they are expecting a baby girl.

Though Jarry’s short time with the Oilers hasn’t gone according to plan to this point, having the offseason to fully process his trade and settle in with his new organization could be exactly what he needs to get back on track.
With the health uncertainties surrounding Frederik Andersen, paired with Devon Levi’s inexperience, the Oilers would hugely benefit from a Jarry bounce-back.
