Oilers' Tristan Jarry and wife Hannah announce a baby is on the way
There will soon be another baby added to the Edmonton Oilers family.
On Thursday evening, Hannah Jarry, the wife of Oilers goalie Tristan Jarry, shared on Instagram that they are expecting a baby girl. The couple have a son, Bennett, who was born in April 2025.

Hannah released a video for the announcement, which shows herself, Jarry, and Bennett sitting on a tractor while looking at ultrasound photos with Austin Burke’s “2 Under 2” playing.
Several wives of Jarry’s teammates were quick to send out messages of congratulations, including Bre Nugent-Hopkins, who wrote, “A girl! So excited for you guys.”
Jarry and Hannah have been together since at least 2019, and got married on Aug. 12, 2023.

Hannah comes from a hockey family herself. Her father, Kevin Hatcher, logged 1,157 NHL games from 1984 to 2001. He racked up an impressive 227 goals and 677 points along with 1,392 penalty minutes. Kevin’s brother, Darien, also enjoyed a very successful 1,045-game career.
As for Jarry, he’s enjoyed a 326-game NHL career thus far, though he has had a rough go of things as of late.
The 31-year-old was acquired by the Oilers in December in a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins that saw Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak head the other way. Jarry struggled immensely in his first season in Edmonton, posting a 3.86 GAA along with a .858 SV% in 19 appearances.
After bringing in Frederik Andersen and Devon Levi early in the offseason, Jarry may be forced to be part of a three-goalie tandem this coming season.
