One man is recovering in hospital from serious injuries after a shooting in north Edmonton early Friday morning.

Edmonton Police Service say officers responded to the area of 84 Street and 118 Avenue around 5:15 am, where they found the man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say two suspects, a man and a woman, fled the scene.
