No fresh snow forecast for Christmas Day in Edmonton

While the Weather Network forecasted a white Christmas for Edmonton this year, it doesn’t appear there will be any fresh snow on the horizon today or tomorrow.

Regardless, it’s always good to have at least a little snow for Santa, given that some parts of the country won’t have any snow on the ground at all.

The Weather Network says that millions of Canadians are in store for a green Christmas this year, due to a “mild pattern dominating through to New Year’s Eve.”

Sun and cloud is expected Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Edmonton, with low temperatures of -8°C today and tomorrow and -10°C on Boxing Day.

A few flurries and up to a centimetre of snow is expected Sunday, with a temperature of -1°C.
