Considering that we’re officially a week away from Christmas Eve, the age-old question returns: Will there be a white Christmas this year?

It’s been quite a snowy and cold couple of weeks for Edmonton, which leaves us wondering if we will be waking up to a yard full of snow on Christmas Day.

According to the Weather Network, this is likely to be the case for Edmontonians this year.

While for over half of Canadians, Weather Network is unable to give a definitive answer about who will see snow this Christmas — even though it is just over a week away — they say Edmonton will see snow Christmas Day.

Even if there isn’t much snow on the ground as of yet in many parts of Canada, some snow is better than no snow if you ask us, especially when it comes to the holiday season.

According to the Weather Network, a white Christmas is 100% guaranteed for Edmonton for Christmas 2019.

Snow is also likely across most of the interior of central and northern BC, and central and northern Alberta — which includes Edmonton and Fort McMurray.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
