It’s hard to believe that Chick-fil-A only opened its first Alberta location last year, and now, another Edmonton location is on the way!

The Georgia-based chicken chain is ramping up its speedy Alberta expansion with its fourth Edmonton outpost, which is set to open this week.

Following on from the opening of its Sunwapta West location last month, Chick-fil-A will be opening a new store at The Meadows on Thursday, April 10.

The new outpost at 4004 17th St. NW will be locally owned and operated by Jag Dhanju and will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The spot will also have a drive-thru for diners on the go.

There’s been a lot of hype for Chick-fil-A in Edmonton, with its first location at West Edmonton Mall seeing guests in line from 6 a.m. on opening day waiting to get their hands on Chick-fil-A’s signature chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and handspun milkshakes.

After opening three locations in Edmonton and one in Calgary so far, Chick-fil-A is continuing its rapid expansion across Alberta, where it plans to open 20 locations by 2030.
