Chick-fil-A gears up to open its newest Edmonton restaurant this week

It’s a big week for chicken fans in Edmonton. While Dave’s Hot Chicken announced it will be opening this week, Chick-fil-A is also gearing up to open its latest Edmonton outpost.
The Georgia-based chicken sandwich joint has been making big moves in Alberta over the last year, opening several locations. It’s showing no sign of stopping either, as its latest outpost will be opening in Edmonton this week.
Chick-fil-A’s new YEG spot will be located at 10104 186th St. NW and is set to open to the public on March 20.
The new restaurant, which includes a drive-thru, will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Hype for the chicken spot has been intense, with its first location at West Edmonton Mall having diners waiting from 6 a.m. to be the first in line to get their hands on Chick-fil-A’s signature chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and handspun milkshakes,
After opening two locations in Edmonton and one in Calgary last year, Chick-fil-A is continuing its rapid expansion across Alberta. Another Edmonton restaurant at The Meadows is due to open later this spring, and the chain plans to open 20 locations in Alberta by 2030.
