Popular Edmonton poke restaurant closes doors to Garneau location

While a bunch of new spots are opening in Edmonton, others are closing up shop, including one location of a very well-known poke chain.
Aloha Hawaiian Poke and Grill is Edmonton’s most popular restaurant for Hawaiian cuisine and the best poké bowls around the city. Its first location sits on the west end, on 174th Street.
This restaurant is one of the only Hawaiian restaurants in the city, serving authentic food and flavours with the best ingredients. Unfortunately, the team had to close the doors to one of its locations.
The location closing is not its main location, but rather its second location in Garneau.

The last day of service at Aloha Poké Garneau was Nov. 8, with the restaurant closing on Nov. 9, shortly after its announcement.
“We are setting our focus at Aloha Poke and Grill West to serve you better,” says the team on Instagram.
With this closure announcement also comes news of the expansion of hours at its west location. It will now be open on Sundays, with the restaurant serving food every day of the week.
Now, you can get one-of-a-kind Hawaiian food any day of the week at its west location. Although this closure is a loss for the Garneau neighbourhood, Aloha Poke and Grill can continue its success on 174th Street.
