Forget the mid-week slump — two Canadian lottery players got a mid-week boost after splitting a Lotto Max prize.
The draw took place on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and the winning numbers were 05, 13, 18, 25, 34, 36, 44, and bonus 01. Unfortunately, there were no big jackpot winners this time, and no one was taking home the $30 million top prize.
However, two lottery players will walk away with some impressive wins.
According to PlayNow, two people matched six of the seven winning numbers and the bonus number, netting themselves the second prize. Split between them, they’ll each receive $68,224.60. As for the lucky tickets, one was sold in Quebec, and the other was sold in Atlantic Canada.

The third prize will be split between 33 people after they matched six of the seven numbers. They’ll each receive $4,134.80.
In B.C., the Lotto Max Extra winning numbers were 13, 59, 70, and 97, but no one won the $500,000 prize. The Encore winning number was 3260346, but no one won the $1 million top prize.
It hasn’t been long since someone last won the jackpot.
On Jan. 31, one Canadian became a multimillionaire after they won the jackpot, instantly becoming $25 million richer. The winning numbers were 02, 08, 09, 16, 27, 37, 38, and bonus 30 at the time. OLG said the jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Toronto’s Willowdale neighbourhood.
“This is the second big Lotto Max jackpot won in Ontario,” stated a release. “The first was the $60 million Lotto Max won after the Jan. 21, 2025, draw.”
The next Lotto Max draw is on Friday, Feb. 21, and a $40 million prize is up for grabs.
