It was an extra special Family Day long weekend for some Canadians after hitting the jackpot with HUGE lottery wins.
Friday’s Lotto Max draw had a top prize of $25 million. The winning numbers were 01, 07, 20, 27, 30, 35, 48, and bonus 44.
Unfortunately, no one matched all seven numbers to take home the jackpot, but one Ontario player matched six of seven numbers, including the bonus. They’re bringing home the second prize of $163,490.60.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Max Extra prize were 15, 22, 71, and 78. No one nabbed the $500,000 top prize; however, 33 Canadians did win $1,000 each.

Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw had a $14 million Gold Ball jackpot, a $1 million White Ball prize, and 20 guaranteed $50,000 additional prizes up for grabs.
With 28 balls in the draw, the gold ball remained unchosen. Luckily, a white ball was chosen, and one lottery player from Quebec matched all of the winning numbers 77242708-01, becoming a millionaire.
The winning numbers for the Classic Draw prize were 08, 10, 31, 37, 43, 49, and bonus 34. Unfortunately, no one won the $5 million jackpot, but someone from Penticton, BC, did win the second prize of $245,448.80 after matching five out of six numbers, including the bonus.
The winning numbers for the Classic Draw Extra prize were 13, 22, 46, and 90. No one won the top lottery prize of $500,000, but 54 Canadians are taking home a modest $1,000.
Last but certainly not least, 20 lottery players across Canada nabbed a guaranteed $50,000 additional prize.
