A Canadian lottery player is living the dream after scoring a multimillion-dollar prize in the recent draw.

The Lotto 6/49 draw took place on Wednesday, June 18, and at the time, the Gold Ball prize was worth $32 million. No one won the jackpot this time, but a lucky Ontario resident who managed to match the winning number 47237911-10 is now $1 million richer.

Another winner will soon take home an even bigger prize after Wednesday’s draw.

The Lotto 6/49 Classic Winning numbers were 08, 14, 20, 25, 30, 38, and bonus 46, and one lottery player matched all six winning numbers, thereby scoring the $5 million top prize. According to PlayNow, the lucky ticket was sold in Western Canada.

The wins don’t end there. Two people in Ontario will split the second prize after they both matched five of the six winning numbers and the bonus number. Each will receive a $105,901.80 prize.

Seventy lottery players matched five of the six winning numbers to win the third prize, and each will receive $1,270.50.

No one in B.C. won the Classic Draw Extra prize worth $500,000. However, someone in Ontario managed to score the Encore top prize of $1 million after matching the winning number 5163237.

The last time someone won the Lotto 6/49 jackpot was on May 7, when a lottery player from Ontario purchased the winning ticket online. At the time, the Gold Ball prize was worth $60 million.

The next Lotto 6/49 draw is set for Saturday, June 21, and the Gold Ball prize is now worth $34 million.
