Canadians booking their vacations with Air Canada now have plenty of ways to score thousands of Aeroplan points.

If you’re a planner who’s already looking to book your trips next year, Air Canada is offering customers ways to earn thousands of rewards points. Book your 2026 getaway and earn up to 20,000 extra Aeroplan points on select vacation packages with Air Canada Vacations.

Travel package options include popular destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Additionally, you can earn points on flight and hotel packages in Hawaii and Florida. To earn points, you’d have to book a minimum seven-night stay and travel between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2026.

Looking to travel further? If you’re planning to explore more of Australia or popular destinations in Europe, Asia, and South America, you can earn up to 4,000 extra Aeroplan points by booking tour packages through Air Canada.

However, if you’re hoping to see more of Canada, you can also earn points with domestic travel. Get up to 2,000 Aeroplan points if you stay at select hotels in popular Canadian destinations like Whistler, Calgary, Kamloops, and Saint John.

You can then enjoy the points you’ve earned by shopping online or using your points towards future travel. You can book vacations through your travel agent or online.

Additionally, Aeroplan members aged 2 to 12 will receive extra points equivalent to 50 per cent of the points granted to members aged 13 and above. To earn extra points, the account number of each Aeroplan Member on the booking must be included in the reservation either pre-travel or upon check-in.

“We believe in rewarding our customers,” said Nino Montagnese, vice president at Air Canada Vacations. “Earning extra Aeroplan points is just one of the many perks of travelling with us.”

Air Canada has been making several changes to its rewards program lately.

Starting next year, Aeroplan members can earn points based on every dollar spent, rather than earning points based on the distance travelled. There will also be additional bonus points to help members earn rewards more quickly.

In addition to travel and shopping, members can also redeem their points for tickets to shows, concerts, and sporting events.
