Well-known Calgary restaurant shutters after 13 years of service
A well-known Calgary restaurant is set to close its doors after more than a decade.
Yellow Door Bistro, a contemporary bistro located at Hotel Arts on 12th Avenue SW, has revealed that it is winding down service, 13 years after it first opened. No reason was given for the closure.
“Thank you to everyone who has visited, celebrated and dined with us over the years. We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of so many occasions, big and small,” the post said.

Yellow Door didn’t share an official closing date, but the restaurant is already listed as permanently closed on Google.
While Yellow Door will be missed, other Hotel Arts restaurants remain open to the public, including Freestyle Social Club on 12th Avenue SW and Oxbow at Hotel Arts in Kensington.
