This Banff conference features an amazing musical lineup

In the shadows of the Canadian Rockies, some of the biggest brands and biggest names in Canadian music are coming together for three days at an event in Banff.

Cult Marketing’s The Gathering 2019 is an annual event held at the Fairmont Banff Springs that creates a think tank for ideas and innovation in all things marketing and entertainment.

Marketing machines such as Tony Hawk, LA Lakers, Airbnb, Porsche, Marvel, North Face, and more will present and be awarded for their industry-leading marketing concepts and accomplishments.

Common themes that have been seen in presenting brands over the past years of The Gathering include purpose-driven marketing and using the power of good through purchasing power.

Yukon Blonde

It is said that 95% of millennials will switch brands to one associated with a cause, and topics like these are at the forefront of change-making marketing and discussion at The Gathering.

This year sees headlining bands such as Yukon Blonde, Dear Rouge, Holy F*ck, Cadence Weapon, and Bun B.

Shown in a series style format, live shows will be entertaining music lovers at the Banff Springs concert stage and the Rose & Crown.

Dear Rouge

Kicking things off on Wednesday is Dear Rouge, followed by Yukon Blonde who are fresh off the release of Critical Hit and their Canadian tour last year.

Currently on tour with The Arkells, Vancouver-based husband and wife duo Dear Rouge received a 2016 Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year. These guys originally hail from Red Deer and many of the other Gathering Music bands are from nearby, bringing together community and entertainment at an iconic and jaw-dropping destination in Canada’s first National Park.
