Canada's very first robot roller coaster just opened in Calgary

Calgary just got a robot roller coaster and it’s the first one ever in Canada!

Telus Spark says the attraction is welcoming in a “new era of excitement.” Calgarians have been having a blast with the robot from the future since it opened at the end of September.

The robot, Ro5ie, is “here to prove that the future is not only friendly, but incredibly fun,” according to the Telus Spark Instagram post.

“This fusion of cutting-edge robotics and heart-pounding thrills, pushes the boundaries of excitement, catapulting riders to gravity-defying feats. As the first of its kind in Canada, RO5iE delivers an adventure that leaves guests craving for more. Welcome to the future of roller coasters,” reads its website.
