Six additional charges have been laid against a former restaurant owner in Calgary who is accused of sexually assaulting coworkers and employees.
In October, police announced they had charged Grant Lee Chichacki with one count of sexual assault that had allegedly taken place in December 2022.
Since, police say an additional six people have come forward with sexual assault allegations, all taking place between 2006 and 2019.
Staff Sergeant Tom Hanson took the opportunity to encourage other victims of sexual assault to come forward, not just for this particular case and regardless of how much time has passed.
“I want to thank the victims who came forward with information… Because of them, we were able to further investigate this file. Anyone who believes they are the victim of sexual assault is encouraged to report it to police, even if years have passed since the incident.”
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234.
