Well-known Calgary food stall to open its first brick-and-mortar location
A popular Calgary food stall is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location soon.
If you’ve spent any time at local makers markets in the city, chances are you’ve stumbled across Arepa Boss. Its famous sauces are even stocked in a lot of stores across the city.
However, there’s an exciting new development as Arepa Boss will be opening its very own location in Marda Loop over the coming months.
“We’ve been working behind the scenes on something BIG for the Arepa Boss family,” the team said on Instagram.
“A cozy new spot where the smell of fresh arepas, empanadas, and passion fruit will finally have a place to call home.”

The spot is known not only for its selection of ready-t0-buy sauces, but also its arepas, a flatbread made of maize dough which is tied to South America, which can be stuffed with meats, veggies, and more.
Construction on the new location is currently underway, and while no opening date has been revealed just yet, we’ll be waiting patiently.
