British-style cocktail bar is set to close its doors in Calgary
It’s been a rough few weeks for 17th Avenue bar closures. Now, a fourth has announced that it will soon be closing its doors.
Pimlico Bar shared a post to its Instagram story, revealing that it would be closing permanently, just a year after opening.
“It didn’t last as long as we planned, but it was real while it did,” the post read.

The spot was touted as a music-forward cocktail bar that brings London’s energy to Calgary, and opened in March 2025, taking over the space previously operated by Gringo Street.
It also offered a wide menu of Modern British dishes with influences from the Commonwealth and Europe.
While Pimlico hasn’t shared an official final day of service, it will still be open this weekend for those looking to say goodbye to the space.
