Well-known Calgary cocktail bar and restaurant to close after 10 years
A 17th Avenue cocktail bar and restaurant has revealed it is closing its doors after a decade.
Lounge Eighteen shared that it would be closing to the public after “10 amazing years” at its location at 1005 17th Ave. SW.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every customer, friend, and supporter who walked through our doors over the past decade,” the Lounge Eighteen team said.

“You helped build more than just a restaurant, you helped build memories, community, and something we will always be proud of.”
The spot was known not only for its cocktails but also for its menu of globally inspired eats and shisha.
However, while it is the end of the line for Lounge Eighteen, the team said the closure is not the end of its story, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for a potential new project.
