Lotto Max is creating some serious temptation to buying a lottery ticket.
If you’re an avid Lotto Max player or not, you can now be enticed by a whopping never-before-seen-in-Canada jackpot of up to $70 million, according to the company. You’ll also be (technically) twice as lucky—with a brand-new Tuesday draw being added to the already existing Friday draw.

Even with the new loaded prizes, there is no change to the cost of play. It’ll still be $5 for three selections of seven numbers. $1 million Maxmillions prizes will also still be offered when the main jackpot reaches and exceeds $50 million.
What is changing is that numbers are now selected from 1 to 50 and there are two brand-new prize categories: Match 5/7+bonus and Match 4/7+bonus.
The overall odds to win a prize are one in seven per $5 play, and for the main jackpot — well, a little slimmer, clocking in at one in 33,294,800. Good luck!
